Play Alpha v1

The first open test of Banners of Asgard. It runs in your browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer. It is free, there is no account, and anyone may join.

Play the alpha

This is an early build. Cards and numbers will change, and your progress may be reset before launch.

Put it on your home screen

The game works in a normal browser tab. From your home screen it opens full screen, like an app.

Turn the sound on, then play the first guided battle. It takes a few minutes.

How a duel works

• Runic Power fills up by itself. Every card costs some of it.
• Drag a card into one of three lanes. Your troops march and fight on their own.
• Bring down the enemy fortress before they bring down yours.

Climb the rankings

Battles you start with Battle win and lose trophies. After each battle the game sends your name and trophies to the Alpha v1 rankings. There is a list for this week and one for all time. Set your name under Profile.

Tell us what you think

We want to hear what feels wrong, what feels good, what confused you, where it stuttered, and whether a battle runs too fast or too slow. Tell us which screen, and what you expected instead. A screenshot helps a lot.

• Your opponents are computer players. They get harder as your trophies rise. Online play comes after launch.
• Your progress lives in this browser on this device. A new phone or cleared browser data means starting over.
• The shop is free. Every purchase is a test, and you are never charged.
• The game is in English only.
• The rankings trust the game on your device. A real server comes later.
