Descriptions

One line

A real-time card duel across three lanes, with the gods and giants of the North on the cards.

About 50 words

Banners of Asgard is a real-time card duel: two players, three lanes, one castle to break. You build a deck from the gods, giants and warriors of Norse myth and play them onto the lanes as your Runic Power fills. A battle takes about three minutes. Chests open the moment you win them.

About 150 words

Banners of Asgard is a lane duel for the phone. You and one opponent each have a castle, three lanes run between them, and your hand is drawn from the old stories of the North: Thor, Odin, Fenrir, valkyries, draugr, giants. Cards cost Runic Power, which refills as the battle runs, so a match is three minutes of pushing lanes, holding lanes and reading the other player. Every card carries a line from the Edda or saga it comes from.

Between battles you build decks behind a banner, level your cards with copies and Silver, climb a trophy road through eleven painted arenas, and play the Saga: a single-player road through the realms in four chapters, against opponents written for each mission. Chests open at once, with no timers. A Warband hall and a seasonal Banner Pass are in the game; warband against warband and leaderboards come with the servers.
